Brandon Douglas Merriam, 16, of 7350 Mutton Ridge Road Zanesville, died Saturday evening, November 13, 2004 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident near his home. He was born July 19, 1988 in Zanesville, a son of Douglas and Michele (Burkhart) Merriam. A sophomore at Tri-Valley High School, he had been active in football, basketball and baseball. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and many outdoor activities and was a very fun loving person. Surviving in addition to his parents are his grandparents, Dwain and Ellen Merriam of Adamsville and Larry and Laurel Burkhart of Zanesville and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends may call 6-9PM Tuesday November 16, 2004 at the Adamsville Chapel of Vensil-Orr &Chute Funeral Home, where services will be held at 12PM Wednesday with Pastor Robert Davis officiating.
