FRAZEYSBURG – Brady I. Crawmer, 84, of Toboso, Ohio died Wednesday evening, December 15, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born April 25, 1926 in Toboso he was the son of the late Walter and Edna (Frizzel) Crawmer and was a 1948 graduate of Hanover-Toboso High School. Mr. Crawmer was a veteran of World War II where he served as a military policeman with the Army Air Corp. He retired in 1986 from Rockwell International of Heath, Ohio where he was a machine operator with 34 years of service. He was a member of the Toboso United Methodist Church and the Rockwell Retirees Club. For many years he coached Little League baseball in the Licking Valley area.
Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Nancy (Hart) Crawmer whom he married April 2, 1955; one daughter, Sandy (Tim) Maggard of Lansing, Michigan; two sons, Mark Crawmer and Jeff (Anne) Crawmer, both of Toboso; five grandchildren, Courtney Carpenter, Nicole (Dave) Bishop, Justin Crawmer, Josh Crawmer and Brandy (Ryan) Dillon; nine great grandchildren, Rhiannon, Daytona, Elijah, Jaden, Ryan, Thaddeus, Maddigan, Brady and Piper; two brothers, Roy (Ruth) Crawmer of Toboso and Ed (Glenda) Crawmer of Newark, Ohio; a special niece, Alice Crawmer Pennybaker and a brother in-law and sister in-law, Jack and Alice Hart of Granville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Cramer and Annie Offenberger; four brothers, Frank, Jesse, Weldon (Bud) and Harry Crawmer; and a brother in-law and sister in-law, Pat and Dick Watson.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, December 20, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Dean Cole and Rev. Don Moshgat officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery where the Licking County Veterans Alliance will conduct military honors.
