Bonnie Jean Studer, 85 of New Lexington died 8:20 p.m. Wednesday October 21, 2009 at her granddaughter?s home. She was born February 29, 1924 in Crooksville, Ohio to the late Frank K. and Genevieve (Russell) Williams. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. For more than 22 years she was a teacher?s assistant for the Adult Basic Literacy Education at the Educational Service Center. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing and cooking Some of her favorite time was spent attending family activities. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn (Lynn) Householder of Rushville, Janice (Leo) Fink of Rushville; grandchildren, Lynn (Lisa) Householder, Jr. of New Lexington, Barbara Freville of Rushville, Todd (Christina) Householder of Junction City, Melinda (Kyle) Kaufman of Thornville, Craig Fink of Rushville, Marcie (William) Gordon of Somerset, Vicki (Ryan) Young of Thornville, Tracy Fink of Rushville; great-grandchildren, Kelly (Bob) Kunkler, Amanda (Brad) Huffman, William Gottke, Krista (Dusty) Lozier, William Freville, Matthew Freville, Cassandra Householder, Todd Householder, Jr., Larry Householder, Carissa Householder, Gage Kaufman, Hannah Kaufman, Devan Gordon, Leah Gordon, Owen Gordon, Eli Gordon; great-great grandchildren, Bobby Kunkler, Kenedi Kunkler, Cami Huffman, Karlee Lozier; brother, Virgil Williams of Somerset; sisters, Laberta (Paul) Swinehart of Columbus, Evelyn Chute of New Lexington, Darlene Bookman of Somerset; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Donald L. Studer who died January 18, 2008; brother, Ronald D. Williams; great granddaughter, Cassidy Householder and great-great grandson Remington Lozier. Calling hours will be observed 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday October 25, 2009 at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home, 203 S. Columbus Street, Somerset. A vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. A Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday October 26, 2009 at St. Rose Catholic Church, 309 N. Main Street, New Lexington with Father Victor Wesolowski, Celebrant. Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery.
