Bonnie Lou Kreis, 72, of Newark, died Saturday morning, April 20, 2024, at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, Ohio.

Born March 3, 1952, in Zanesville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Luther F. and Ruth M. (Elmore) Taylor and a 1970 graduate of Philo High School.  Bonnie worked as a Patient Registration Technician for several doctor's offices in the area.  She was known for having the sharpest wit and the queen of comebacks, she always had a one liner ready for any occasion. Bonnie enjoyed reading and watching her television programs but what she loved the most was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her two sons, Dustin Kreis of Zanesville, and Darrin (Courtney) Kreis of Etna; five grandchildren, Lily, Amelia, Caden, Kennedy, and Olivia; a brother, Jerry (Janet) Taylor of Norwich; two sisters, Kay Hartley of Zanesville, Connie Taylor of Stovertown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister in-law, Jack (Patty) Taylor and a sister, Freda Taylor.

In accordance with Bonnie's wishes, there will be no services.
