FRAZEYSBURG â?? Bonnie Jones, 96, of Nashport, Ohio died Friday evening, October 29, 2010 at her home.
Born November 23, 1913 in Red Knob, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late David I. and Annie (Hopkins) Harner and was a homemaker. Mrs. Jones was a member of Nashport-Irville United Methodist Church and a member of the Willing Workers Circle of the church as well as a member of the Eastern Star. Her greatest enjoyment was being â??Grandmaâ? to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are three daughters, Anna Ardrey of Nashport, Dora (George) Kessler of Kingwood, Texas and Sharon (Daniel) Bowman of Zanesville; eleven grandchildren, Doug Ardrey, Dan (Julie) Ardrey, Fred Kessler, Rich Kessler, Deb (Tim) Winkler, Dee (Steve) Senter, Michelle Bowman, Father Eric Bowman, Kevin (Charlene) Bowman, Lisa Bowman and Lori (Michael) Gnau; eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Oral V. Jones whom she married November 3, 1934 and who died October 14, 1987; a son in-law, Myron Ardrey; two brothers and four sisters.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Monday, November 1, 2010 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 10:30am Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the funeral home with the Rev. Dan Smith officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
