Obituary

Bill Harper, 52, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Tuesday morning, April 7, 2015 in Newark, Ohio.
Born February 20, 1963 in Zanesville, Ohio he is the son of Bill and Ruth (Ayers) Harper of Frazeysburg. Bill was a 1981 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and he attended West Liberty University. He was a former retail manager at Meijer, Inc. of Newark and at Harry & David in Heath, Ohio. Bill was also a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of Meadow View Church of Christ in Frazeysburg and the 12th Man Club at Tri-Valley High School. He was very active in coaching Tri-Valley Biddy League football and Little League baseball. Bill was very instrumental in the formation and construction of Frew Memorial Park in Frazeysburg. He enjoyed all Tri-Valley sports and woodworking.
Surviving in addition to his parents is his wife, Johanna (Winter) Harper whom he married August 27, 1993; a son, Jake Harper and a daughter, Ashley Harper, all of Frazeysburg. Also surviving is his sister and brother in-law, Lisa and John McMullen of Zanesville, a nephew, Tony (Aubrey) Ripple of Nashport, a niece, Erica Ripple of Columbus, Ohio and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Meadow View Church of Christ, 6750 Raiders Road, Frazeysburg.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Meadow View Church of Christ with Minister Sam Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
