Beverly M. Vickers, 76, of Dresden, formerly of Zanesville, died at 12:15PM Sunday August 3, 2008 at Willow Haven Care Center in Zanesville. Mrs. Vickers was born November 2, 1931 in Coshocton, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Fulks) Lang. She was a graduate of Coshocton High School and had had worked at the Longaberger Company for several years. She and her husband Bill had operated the Jolly Bar on Main Street in Zanesville starting in 1982 for many years. She was a member of St. John?s United Church of Christ in Coshocton. Surviving are a daughter, Carol (Tim) Davis of Dresden, grandchildren, Jason Wood, Derek Davis, Jerrod Wood, Robbie Fischer, step grandchildren, Amye (Trophy) Idler, Aaron (Bobbie) Davis, great grandchildren, Kalib Davis, Emily Davis, Joshua Davis, Elizabeth Christi Wood, Mekinna Davis, Hayleigh Davis and a son in law, Robert Fischer of California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William ?Bill? Vickers on Sept. 12, 1995; two daughters, Connie Fischer on Feb. 11, 2000 and Christi Wood on May 2, 1997and one sister, Barbara Turner. Friends may call 3-5 & 7-9PM Tuesday August 5, 2008 at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home in Dresden where services will be held at 10AM Wednesday with Pastor Jack Harris officiating. Entombment will follow in Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
