A funeral service for Beverly L. Raines, 77 of Newark will be at 1:00p.m. Saturday January 27, 2007 at the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Rev. William Rauch officiating. Burial will be in Newark Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Raines died January 23, 2007 at Arlington Nursing Home. She was born October 16, 1929 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Herman and Christina (Wolfe) Jones. Mrs. Raines enjoyed gardening, sewing and her wonderful family. Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, Warren D. Raines of Newark, whom she married November 30, 1946; three daughters, Jean Anne (Clarence) Tilton of Canton, Jacqueline Raines of Eustis, FL., and Joy (Alan) Ambrogne of Altamonte Springs, Fl.; grandchildren Brian (Jill) Tilton, Bruce Tilton, Amanda Dutton, Joe Dutton; great grandchildren, Alexandria Tilton, Becca and Natalie Tilton; brothers, Delmar Jones of Martinsburg, WV., and Charles ?Buck? Jones of Cross Lanes, WV.; and a sister, Joy Starcher of St. Albans WV. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Raines was preceded in death by a brother M. I. Jones, and a great grandson, Alexander Tilton.
