Betty J. Younkins, 78, of Pickerington, died Thursday evening October 7, 2004 at her home. Mrs. Younkins was born April 19, 1926, a daughter of the late Harry and Clara (Lacy) Steele. She had worked at Society Bank in Reynoldsburg and Dixie?s Hallmark in Columbus. Mrs. Younkins was a member of the Peace United Methodist Church in Pickerington and enjoyed the Los Amigos fellowship group at the church and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #399 in Dresden. Surviving is her husband of 57 years, Arthur E. Younkins, whom she married September 14, 1947; one daughter, Kim (Troy) Casner of Reynoldsburg; five grandchildren, Ryan Kelly, Teresa Kelly, Caitlin Casner, Brenna Casner, Haleigh Casner; one great grandson, Aiden Bond and a sister, Juanita Riley of Mt. Vernon. A sister, Isabelle Parker preceded her in death. Friends may call from 2PM-3:30PM Monday October 11, 2004 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr&Chute Funeral Home, where services will be held at 3:30PM with Reverend James A. Riggs officiating.
