Betty Ann Miller, 86, of Perryton, Ohio, died Tuesday afternoon, December 3, 2024 at Genesis Hospital.
Born December 21, 1937 in Licking County, she was a daughter of the late Dale L. and Doris V. (Cameron) Barrick and a 1955 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. Betty was a lifelong member of the Perryton United Methodist Church. She was a registered nurse and spent most of her career as a school nurse for Licking Valley Schools. Betty enjoyed getting together with "The Gypsies" and spending time with the friends she made while working for the schools. She was very sociable and easily connected with old and new friends alike. She loved her family and took great pride in her grandchildren; she could often be found cheering for them at various events. Betty was a nurturer and showed her kindness by sincerely caring for everyone she met.
She is survived by a son and daughter in-law, Kyle (Lisa) Miller of Heath; five grandchildren, Emily (George) Kral of Maumee, OH, Kylie (Bennett) Niceswanger of Newark, Shae (Jordan) Bailey of Frazeysburg, Keith (Dani) Dillon of Etna and McKenzie (Adam) Annarino of Newark; six great grandchildren, Ethan and Ellie Dillon, George and Vivian Kral, Lilly Annarino and Oliver Bailey; daughter in-law, Jeannie Miller of Frazeysburg; several nieces and nephews and so many special friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald D. Miller whom she married November 7, 1959 and who died August 26, 2019; son, Kelly C. Miller; brother and sister in-law, Bob (Lois) Barrick and a sister and brother in-law, Alice R. (Gerald "Jerry") Wright.
Friends and family may call 10am to 11am at the Perryton United Methodist Church, 6139 Licking Valley Road, Frazeysburg, Ohio 43822. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM at the church.
Betty will be laid to rest beside her parents in Perryton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Kelly Miller Scholarship Fund, Licking County League, 1393 Estates Drive, Newark, OH 43055.
