Betty Jean Lauvray, 77, of Dresden, died at 1:35AM Sunday October 26, 2003 at Willow Haven Nursing Home. Mrs. Lauvray was born October 6, 1926 in Dresden, a daughter of the late Orin and Mary Bell (Ripple) Graves. She was a member of St. Ann?s Catholic Church in Dresden. Surviving are her sons, Timothy Louis (Donna) Lauvray of Toledo, Thomas Orin (Sandy) Lauvray of Dresden, three grandchildren, Alan (Jennifer) Lauvray, Kevin (Timera) Lauvray, Brian Lauvray, three great granddaughters, Lyndzie Lauvray, Lydia Lauvray, Laikyn Lauvray; three sisters, Nancy (Dominic) Calabresi of Hammonsburg, NY, Barbara (James) Slate of Dresden, Patricia Graves of Manchester, Conn., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Henry Lauvray, whom she married on April 4, 1948, on December 4, 2002 and her brother, Roger Graves. Friends may call 6-8PM Tuesday October 28, 2003 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where Wake Services will be held at 8PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30AM on Wednesday at St. Ann?s Catholic Church with Father Jack Maynard celebrant. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery.
