Betty J. King, 82, of Dresden, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, October 2, 2002 at her home. Mrs. King was born February 1, 1920 in New Brighton, Penn., a daughter of the late Fred and Leota (Mitchell) Wiles. She was a member of the Dresden U. Methodist Church and attended the Bonnie Longaberger Senior Center. Surviving are two sons, T. Alyn King of Palm Springs, Calif., Bill King of Dresden, a daughter, Jane Nelson of Dresden; grandchildren, Kevin King, Craig King, Kelly King, Kyle King, Tyler King and Lori Ferrell, ten great grandchildren; and a brother, Ted (Elizabeth) Wiles of Akron. A brother, Chuck Wiles, two sisters, Mary Kimberly, Jean Marshall and a grandson, Trent King, preceded her in death. Friends may call 6-9PM Friday October 4, 2002 at the Vensil&Orr Funeral Home in Dresden, where services will be held at 1:00PM Saturday. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery.
