FRAZEYSBURG ? Betty E. Farnsworth, 60, of 6220 Chandlersville Road, Chandlersville, Ohio, died at 10:10pm Saturday, June 28, 2003 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio. Born January 30, 1943 in Stewart, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late James and Frances (Norris) Harkins and was a 1960 graduate of Philo High School. In 1994 she graduated from MATC as an Administrative Assistant and she retired in 2002 as a Nursery Technician for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Mrs. Farnsworth was also a homemaker and loved to crochet. Surviving are four sons, Richard Farnsworth of Frazeysburg, Ohio, Randy Farnsworth of Chandlersville, Robbie (Jackie) Farnsworth, and Roger (Laura) Farnsworth, both of Zanesville; two daughters, Rita Nicholson of Blue Rock, Ohio, and Rebecca Pierce of Frazeysburg; one brother, Glen (Bev) Harkins of Macksburg, Ohio; one sister, Jeanne (Gail) Chambers of Zanesville; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Farnsworth, who died December 24, 1997. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street Frazeysburg. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Knox officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
