Betty Lou Coulter, 84, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Wednesday afternoon, December 17, 2014 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio.
Born November 23, 1930 in Kimbolton, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Mary Ann (Cain) Berga. Mrs. Coulter was retired from the Ohio Plastics Company of Frazeysburg with 23 years of service. She was a former member of the Maxburg United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star of Roseville for 49 years. She was an excellent cook and she enjoyed fishing, especially at Lake Erie.
Surviving is one son and daughter in-law, Gary Donald Coulter and his wife, Sherry of Nashport, Ohio; three grandchildren, Jamie (Ron) Frank, Jessica (Joe) Schneider and Jenny Coulter; four great grandchildren, Gregory George, Jimmy Ford, Sean Ford and Gracie Schneider; a niece and nephew, Gara Pompey and Chuck Berga and a sister in-law, Genelle Berga.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Q. Coulter whom she married July 4, 1951 and who died September 7, 1990; a brother Floyd Berga, Jr.; a granddaughter, Janet Coulter and a great granddaughter, Jasmine George.
Calling hours will be from 11am to 1pm Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Dawn Remster officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery at a later date.
