FRAZEYSBURG ? Betty J. Bebout, 86, of Newark, OH, formerly of Frazeysburg, OH, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, December 20, 2009. Born June 4, 1923 in Frazeysburg, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Bessie Bagent Fulks and was a 1941 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. A homemaker, she was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and Grandma (?Nanny?) and she was an incredible cook! Betty was one of the oldest members of the Frazeysburg United Methodist Church. Surviving is one son, Mike (Leslie) Bebout of Frazeysburg; three daughters Donna (Ed) Wise of Frazeysburg, Carol ?Cookie? Barcus of Lewis Center, OH and Patsy (Garry) Day of Raleigh, NC; a sister Bobbie Freshwater of Zanesville; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray A. Bebout, whom she married August 31, 1941 and who died September 7, 1994; two sisters, Della McDevitt and Dora Upton; a brother Paul Fulks; and a son in-law Donnie Barcus. Calling hours will be 6 to 8pm Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at the Frazeysburg United Methodist Church, 87 West Second Street. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at the Frazeysburg United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
