Bertha M. ?Bert? Harding, 77, of Zanesville, passed away in her sleep unexpectedly Tuesday morning, August 11, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Harding was born October 25, 1931 in Moundsville, WV, a daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Newell) Doyle. Surviving are her husband, Elmer A. Harding, whom she married October 12, 1952; children, Stephanie (David) Colledge of Mansfield, Walter (Darla) Harding of Zanesville, Robert S. (Teresa) Harding of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Steven Harding, Diana (Travis) Wise both of Mansfield, Sabrina Whitney and Leanne Myrick both of Atlanta; great grandchildren, Shana and Tara Whitney both of Atlanta; a sister, Anne Huey of Zanesville; a brother John Doyle of Zanesville; several very special friends and two beloved Siamese cats she recued, Chloe and Icie. Preceding her in death were her brothers, Grover, Robert and Henry Doyle and a sister, Patricia Burris. Friends may call 3-6PM Thursday August 13, 2009 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where services will held at 6PM with Pastor Ken Kinley officiating.
