Bernard W. Gill, 69, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Saturday morning, January 1, 2022 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio.
Born December 25, 1952 in Zanesville, he was a son of the late Bernard R. and Helen Louise (Harbaugh) Gill and was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School. Mr. Gill retired from the Quality Assurance Department of The Longaberger Company after 20 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking and doing mechanical work on automobiles.
Surviving is his wife, Debra S. (Holmes) Gill whom he married July 12, 2000; one son, Jesse B. Gill of Frazeysburg; three daughters, Leah Spencer (Steve) Jerrell of Columbus, Ohio, Allison Starcher of Frazeysburg and Cortney (Jeremy) Deckard of Dresden, Ohio; one step-son Thomas J. (Angela) Babcock of Coshocton, Ohio; one step-daughter, Trudy M. (Jason) Gabbard of Coshocton; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Charles R. (Linda) Gill of Dresden and David A. (Tammy) Gill of Zanesville; five sisters Sandy Warner of California, Nancy Rodgers of Zanesville, Candice L. (Bud) Rambo, Marjorie (John) Wilcox and Deborah (Mike) Wisecarver all of Dresden; several nieces and nephews and very special friends, Larry and Brenda Miller of Newark, Ohio.
Calling hours will be 4pm to 7pm Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Memorial services will be following the calling hours at 7:00pm. A private family committal service will be at Frazeysburg Cemetery at a later date.
