A funeral Service for Benny Jackson, 50 of St. Louisville will be held AT 10:00 a.m. Saturday November 17, 2007 at the Church of God, God?s Acres 675 N. Cedar Street with Pastor Roger L. Decker officiating. Burial will be Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mr. Jackson died Tuesday November 13, 2007 at his residence. He was born January 28, 1957 in Amherst, Ohio to Guy Jackson and the late Norma (Hootman) Jackson. Mr. Jackson is retired from the Newark Air Force Base. He was a member of the Church of God, God?s Acres. He had served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed home remodeling. He is survived by his wife, Louise (Lohr) Jackson, whom he married September 2, 2005; father and step-mother, Guy and Hilda Jackson of Newark; sons, Jay Jackson of Dublin, Jerame Jackson of Lancaster; granddaughter Alexis Jackson; sisters, Linda (Bill) Prior of Heath, Lana (Mike) Wilgor of Wellington, Lola (Orie) Richards of Bellefontaine, Jeanette (Mike) Vaughn of Michigan; brothers, Larry Jackson of Ky., Guy ?Buzz? (Shirley) Jackson, Jr. of Bellefontaine; step-daughters April Bennett of Heath, Lisa (Rusty) Miller of Newark, Kara Bennett of St. Louisville; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be observed 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church, 675 N. Cedar Street,Newark. Memorial contributions may be made to Church of God, God?s Acres 675 N.
