Benjamin R. Untied, Sr., 63, of Conesville, died Friday evening in the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital ER following an accident at his home. Mr. United was born April 11, 1944 in Dresden, a son of the late Benjamin T. and Josephine (Hahn) Untied. He was a veteran of the US Army and had worked in the shipping departments of Stone Container and the Longaberger Company and had been a member of Local #18 in Coshocton. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving are his wife, Ramona (Moni) L. (Saylor) Untied, whom he married January 28, 1968; one son and beloved daughter in law, Benjamin R. and Dixie Untied, Jr. of Conesville; four grandchildren, Amanda, Erin, Cheyene and Faith Untied; one sister, Josephine (Jim) Sarchet of Frazeysburg and many brothers and sisters in law and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary E. Untied. Friends may call Wednesday December 26, 2007 from 6-8PM at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home in Dresden, where services will follow calling hours at 8PM with Pastor Jeremiah Durham officiating.
