FRAZEYSBURG ? Ben J. Wolford, 81, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Tuesday morning, March 17, 2009 in the emergency room of Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio. Born August 21, 1927 in Frazeysburg, he was the son of the late Ben and Mary Olive (Preston) Wolford, Sr. and was a self employed farmer and oil field worker. He was an active member of the New Beginnings Ministries of Warsaw, Ohio. Surviving is his wife of 64 years, Bonnie (Anderson) Wolford, whom he married October 10, 1944; four daughters and sons in-law, Diana and Orville Ashcraft and Connie and Bill Dunfee, all of Frazeysburg; Reda and Jim Miller of Coshocton, Ohio and Loretta and Kelly Leary of Warsaw; two sons and daughters in-law, Garry and Kathy Wolford and Keith and Jackie Wolford, all of Frazeysburg; two sisters, Linda Clark of Hampton, Virginia and Patty Thomas of Las Vegas, Nevada; one brother and sister in-law, Jesse and Pat Wolford of Warsaw; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; six step great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Iona Rose Hindel and Pauline Hindel and one brother, Larry Dean Wolford. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Thursday, March 19, 2009 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 10:30am Friday, March 20, 2009 at the funeral home with Mr. Wolford?s son in-law, Pastor Bill Dunfee officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
