Beatrice I. Spiker, 97, of Dresden, died at 4:40PM Sunday July 11, 2010 at Cedar Hill Care Center in Zanesville.
Mrs. Spiker was born August 19, 1912 in Madison Township, a daughter of the late Cash and Annie (Lynn) Poorman. She was a 1924 graduate of Jefferson High School and a life long resident of Dresden.
Surviving are her children, Clifford Leroy (Dixie) Spiker of Dresden, Donald (Janice) Spiker of S. Zanesville, Elizabeth Jane Prince Smythe of Coshocton, Carol A. (James) Wilcox of Dresden, Virginia J. (James) Laudenbacher of Zanesville; twelve grandchildren, Carol Ann (Nick) Stanovich, Sondra K. (Jerry) Minning, Vickie (Rocky) Hatfield, Cecilia (Dana) Warner, Kandus (Aron) Green, Janelle (Dan) Amish, Douglas (Libby) Prince, Cynthia ((Tim) Laird, David (Renee) Prince, Brian (Becky) Prince, Audrey Nichols, Eric Laudenbacher; many great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Spiker; two grandchildren, James W. Wilcox, Jr., Lezley L. Laudenbacher and her brothers and sisters, Leslie and Daniel Poorman, Phyllis Thomas, Annabelle Krebs, Frances Bishop and Marjorie Faulkner.
