FRAZEYSBURG ? Barbara L. Higgins, 48, of Nashport, Ohio died at 9:40pm Friday, February 23, 2007 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice, Zanesville, Ohio. Born December 1, 1958 in Zanesville, she was the daughter of Joe C. Stone, Sr. of Nashport and the late Marriam D. (Ross) Stone and was a graduate of Zanesville High School. Mrs. Higgins also attended MATC and she was employed as a painter at D-K Manufacturing of Frazeysburg, Ohio. Surviving is addition to her father, is her husband, John P. Higgins whom she married May 5, 2000; two sons, Joshua Lewis and Ryan Pepping both of Nashport; two daughters, Samantha Lewis of Newark, Ohio and Teresa Pepping of Coshocton, Ohio; one granddaughter, Layla Lewis; two brothers, Joe E. (Donna) Stone, Jr. and Curt (Jackie) Stone, both of Frazeysburg; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be from 11am to 1pm Monday, February 26, 2007 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Belt officiating followed by a caring cremation.
