NEWARK ? A memorial service for Barbara Jean Henthorn, 66, of Newark will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Sunkle officiating. Mrs. Henthorn died Tuesday evening at Newark Healthcare Centre. She was born May 2, 1938 in Clarksburg, WV, to the late Boyd A. and Mildred E. (McMillian) Patterson. Mrs. Henthorn was a home maker and member of the Westside Chapel.She is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Harold H. Henthorn; two sons, Stanley E. Miller of Columbus; Craig A. (Theresa) Miller of Newark; a daughter, Marty Miller of Newark; a step-daughter Penny (Dennis) Roberds of Columbus; brothers, Charles (Vy) Patterson, Eddie (Linda) Patterson, Gerald (Ruth) Patterson; sisters, June (Doug) Nichols, Jan (Al) Huff, Debbie (Keven) Woolever, seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Joan BrownFriends may call one hour prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home, 1850 West Main Street, Newark.
