Barbara A. (Flowers) Moran, 70 of Frazeysburg passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Mrs. Moran was born February 5, 1939 in Zanesville to the late Charles Flowers and Hazel (Johnson) Flowers. She had worked for over 10 years as a manager for Tupperware Inc., and as an LPN at Newark Healthcare Centre. Mrs. Moran was a member of Water?s Edge Assembly of God in Newark. She was a loving wife; and a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed flowers and gardening. She was always gracious and hospitable. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 51 years, Linton E. Moran, whom she married May 3, 1958; a daughter, Holly Campbell of Newark; a son, Greg E. (Debbie) Moran of Frazeysburg; a sister, Sue (Karl) Kent of Warsaw; brothers, Steve (Ruth) Flowers of West Bedford, Dick (Carolyn) Flowers of Fresno, Roy Flowers of Frazeysburg; grandchildren, Ashley Moran and her fianc? Jonathan Hardy; Gregory (Caressa) Moran; and Barbara Shiree (Donnie) Campbell-Huff; and a great granddaughter, Sydelle Jolie Moran. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Flowers; and a son in-law, Russ Campbell. Friends and family may visit from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 2009 at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark. A memorial service celebrating Mrs. Moran?s life will be at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Water?s Edge Assembly of God, 2249 Cherry Valley Road, Newark. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery, Newark. Memorial contributions may be made to Water?s Edge Assembly of God. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
