Barbara A. Chapman, 66, of Nashport, Ohio died Wednesday morning February 25, 2015 at her home.
Born November 8, 1948 in Parkersburg, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late Carl and Pauline (Taylor) McNemar. Mrs. Chapman was a homemaker and a former employee of the Longaberger Company where she worked in the shipping department for 17 years. She was a member of the North Terrace Church of Christ and she enjoyed cooking and baking. Her greatest love was taking care of her home, her family and her loving dogs, Biscuit and Bear.
Surviving is her loving husband, Donald R. Chapman whom she married October 22, 1966; one son, Donald R. Chapman, Jr. of Wheeling, West Virginia; three daughters, Linda (Greg) Coots of Frazeysburg, Daphney (Benny) Binkley of Zanesville and Heather (Mary) Chapman of Nashport; seven grandchildren, Autum, Tyler, Erica, Austin, D. J., Danielle and Little "B"; four great grandchildren, Kendalynn, Conner, Jaelyn and Aliyah; one brother, Bill (Wanda) McNemar of Frazeysburg and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four sisters, Sarah Farnsworth, Irene Baxter, Doris Hindel and Madelyn Smith.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, March 2, 2015 at the funeral home with Minister William Meaige officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
