DRESDEN – Annabelle A. Lacy, 84, of Dresden, Ohio went to be with her Lord on Monday afternoon, January 30, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio.
Born January 17, 1928 in Dresden she was a daughter of the late William C. "Nippy" and Amanda (Moore) Pence. Mrs. Lacy was a member of the Dresden First Baptist Church and was Sunday School teacher for many years. She was a former employee of Essex Wire Company of Zanesville and Social Supper of Dresden.
Surviving are two daughters and sons in-law, Pam and Dean Brauning and Christy and Jerry Hahn, both of Dresden; five grandchildren, Holly (Scott) Wolford of Dresden, Chad Brauning of Columbus, Ohio, Brian (Jana) Hahn of Dresden, Jody (J. R.) Seals of Germany and Jamie (Renea) Hahn of Zanesville; eleven great grandchildren, Kayla, Brittany and Seth Wolford, Tyler Brauning, Shawn and Cody Hahn, Kelsey Young, Josi and Jaden Seals, Keaton and Kameron Hahn; three sisters, Bettye Boyer of Maryland, Genevieve Tyson of Zanesville and Doris Griffith of Dresden; two brothers, Gene Pence of Zanesville and Dudley Pence of Wisconsin; three sisters in-law, Grace Pence, Harriet Damron and Geraldine Lacy all of Dresden and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Everett "Boge" Lacy who died June 8, 1998; a son David Michael Lacy; two sisters, Cora Oliver and Leora Conkle and two brothers, Delbert "Buck" Pence and Spurgeon Pence.
Calling hours will be 5 to 8pm Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Dresden First Baptist Church, 801 Chestnut Street with the Rev. Mark Kruchkow officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
