Obituary

DRESDEN – Staff Sergeant Andrew Scott Prince, 25, of Buckeye, Arizona, formerly of Dresden, Ohio died Friday morning, September 16, 2011 at the home of his parents in Dresden.
Born August 31, 1986 in Zanesville, Ohio he is the son of Rick S. and Kim J. (Hawk) Prince of Dresden and was a 2004 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. Staff Sergeant Prince was currently serving our country as an aircrew life support member with the United States Air Force, 56 Fighter Squadron at Luke Air Force Base, Glendale, Arizona. He was a member of the Dresden United Methodist Church and he enjoyed the outdoors, hiking and working with computers.
Surviving in addition to his parents is his wife, Jackie L. (Cauffman) Prince whom he married August 1, 2008; a son, Peyton Scott Prince; two sisters, Amanda Prince and Alyssa Prince both of Dresden; his grandparents, Paul and Daune Prince of Dresden and Jim (Rose) Hawk of Dresden; great grandparents, Dick and Wanda Gulley of Dresden; mother in-law, Candi (George Garcia) Cox of Phoenix, Arizona; father in-law, James (Arlene) Hale of Chicago, Illinois; sister in-law, Briana Cauffman of Phoenix; an aunt Jeri Prince of Glenoma, Washington; three uncles, Michael (Tammy) Hawk of Frazeysburg, Bob (Jennifer) Hawk of Loudonville, Ohio and Jeffrey (Jennifer) Hawk of Dresden; and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Jean Hawk.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 9pm Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be 10:30am Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the Dresden United Methodist Church with the Rev. Greg Imboden officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery where full military honors will be presented.
