Andrew L. "Andy" Mohler, Sr., 71, of Trinway, Ohio died Saturday afternoon, May 3, 2014 at his home.

Born May 10, 1942 in Zanesville, Ohio he was a son of the late Reynold "Ray" and Erma L. (Baker) Mohler and was a graduate of Morgan High School in Morgan County, Ohio. Mr. Mohler was a retired employee of Owens-Corning Fiberglas of Newark, Ohio. He attended the Trinway United Methodist Church and was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing.

Surviving is his wife, Sally L. (Roman) Mohler whom he married June 13, 1981; three sons, Andy Mohler, Jr. of Zanesville, Charles Mohler of Nashport, Ohio and Mark Mohler of Columbus, Ohio; two daughters, Penny Clark of Trinway and Connie (Jessie) Fair of New Concord, Ohio; six grandchildren, Amber, Paige, Shanan, Cierra, Dakota and Kayon; two great grandchildren, Olivia and Carter; his brother in-law and sister in-law, Jim and Ruth Roman of Trinway; several nieces and nephews and a "very special person", Christy Johnson and her son, Eli of Trinway.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Roberts and Susie Long.

Calling hours will be 6pm to 8pm Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.

Memorial services will be at 1:00pm Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the Trinway United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sharon Williamson officiating.
