Ana Laura Gallegos-Saldivar, 53, of Davenport, Iowa died peacefully Saturday morning, August 31, 2013 at the home of her sister, Flor Marie Wisecarver of Frazeysburg.
Born October 14, 1959 in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico she was a daughter of the late Mario Gallegos-Ochoa and Socorro Prieto-Gallegos. She was Catholic by faith.
Ana touched many hearts with her spirit of service. She was always optimistic and positive. She courageously fought her battle with cancer for more than seven years.
Surviving is her husband, Jose Saldivar whom she married November 19, 2010; a son, Noe Preciado of Mexico; two daughters, Ana L. Preciado and Ana Gabriela Preciado, both of Mexico; a brother, Mario Gallegos-Prieto (Sandra Iliana Sanchez) of Mexico and a sister, Flor Marie (Mike) Wisecarver of Frazeysburg.
There will be no calling hours.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Saturday, September 7, 2013 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Dresden with the Rev. Father Don Franks as Celebrant.
Burial will be in Mexico at a later date.
