Obituary
A memorial service for Alta Jean Stalling, 80 of Newark will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2010 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2740 Newark-Granville Road, Granville.
Mrs. Stalling passed away September 7, 2010 at her home. She was born January 13, 1930 in Somerset to the late William and Cora (Varner) Litzinger. She attended Somerset High School. Mrs. Stalling retired after nearly 20 years at Newark Healthcare Center. She had also worked for LPN and AVI Vending. She was always cheerful and loved to smile and laugh.
Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Harry E. Stalling; daughters, Monica Stalling and Diana (Fred) Mathews, both of Newark; a son, Keith (Judy) Stalling of Columbus; grandchildren, Rachelle (Lee) Murphy of Columbus, Matiá Mathews of Newark, Patricia (Danny) Campolo of Newark, Mikael Shea Mathews of Cincinnati, and Timothy Stalling of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Dalton, Cameron and Anthony Campolo, and Gabriel Murphy; a brother Bill Litzinger of Arkansas; and a sister, Margarite Guest of Texas.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stalling was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeremy Stalling and a sister, Maxine Yarger.
