A funeral service for Albert Pressley, 54 of Newark will be held at 1:00p.m. Thursday August 3, 2006 at the Christian Apostolic Church with Dr. Janice Sj?strand officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens. Mr. Pressley died Wednesday July 26, 2006 at The Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus. He was born June 19, 1952 in Kingstree, South Carolina to the late Rev. Thomas and Lillie Bell (Boyd) Pressley. He was a 1969 graduate of Kingstree High School. He worked as a brick and block layer. He is survived by his loving wife Gina (Abbott) Pressley, his companion of 28 years; his children, Dakota, Diantre, and Dominic, of the home; Crystal McClain, of Newark; brothers, Rev. James (Virginia) Pressley, Isaac (Elnora) Pressley, Nathaniel (Julia) Pressley, Stephenson (Gale) Pressley, Seth (Janie) Pressley, and Keith Pressley, all of South Carolina, Leon Pressley of Newark, and Stanley (DeLisa) Pressley of Alabama; sisters, Lillie May Segres, Rachel (Ernest) Cooper, Hattie (George) McKnight, and Cecelia (LeRoy) Epps, all of South Carolina; a granddaughter Tamia McClain; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m until the time of service at 1:00 p.m Thursday at the church, 22 N. 23rd Street, Newark.
