Albert Parrill, Jr., 90, of Nashport, Ohio died Friday morning, September 8, 2017 at his home.
Born March 3, 1927 in Muskingum County, he was a son of the late Albert Parrill, Sr. and Fayetta (Hitchcock) Parrill. He attended Nashport High School and was a proud veteran of World War II, serving in the Air Corp. Albert was a heavy equipment operator, having worked for several different companies over the years. He retired in 1990 from Hanover Township of Licking County. He also loved farming on his family farm and enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He attended Toboso United Methodist Church and was a 62 year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #302 of Zanesville.
Surviving is his loving wife of nearly 53 years, Nellie I. (Flowers) Parrill whom he married September 25, 1954; two daughters, Roxie (Tony) Kullman of Columbus, Ohio and Janie (Terry) Harding of Nashport; one grandson, Joshua (Tami) Harding; two great grandchildren, Baylee and Dane Harding and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Parrill and two sisters, Bonnie Miller and Margaret Weiland.
Calling hours will be 5pm to 7pm Monday, September 11, 2017 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the funeral home with the Rev. James Hall officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery at a later date.
