Ada Marie Wagner, 86, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Thursday evening, April 22, 2021 at her home with her loving family at her side.

Born November 12, 1934 in Muskingum County near Dresden, she was the daughter of the late Charles Russell and Evelyn Marie (Cullins) Prince.  She was raised by her aunt, Violet Prince and her grandfather, Charles H. Prince.  Ada was a 1952 graduate of Dresden Jefferson High School and was a long-time member of the Dresden United Methodist Church and was the church treasurer for over 20 years.  She was employed by the Central Trust Bank in Zanesville where she retired from the Trust Department after many years of service.  After her retirement, Ada was a volunteer at Roscoe Village for several years and was a member of the Roscoe Quilting Club.  Along with quilting, her favorite past time was going to the beach with her best friend, Shirley King and spending time with her family.

Surviving is one granddaughter, Aimee (Stephen) Rector; a great granddaughter, Bree Ross; two great grandsons, Kurt Ross and Beau Newman and her daughter in-law, Susan Wagner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, William H. "Bill" Wagner whom she married February 12, 1954 and who died April 5, 2018; a son, Russell L. Wagner who died November 30, 2017; a granddaughter, Angie Lee Wagner who died October 7, 1995, and a grandson, Kurt Bryan Wagner who died September 24, 1996.

Ada's family wishes to give a very special "Thanks" to her loving caregivers, Jessica Henderson and Taylor Cain.

Calling hours will be 5pm to 8pm Monday, April 26, 2021 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Wells officiating.  Ada will be laid to rest beside her loving husband in Dresden Cemetery.
